MAKING BEAUTIFUL CONNECTIONS

You: OK, so what's this "beautiful connections" thing?

Youand: Youand is all about making beautiful connections.

You: Even if you say so, "yourself":) But, what are . . . "beautiful connections?"

Youand: You sound(s) incredulous. That's alright, let me show you. This being the YouandmovieSpace, it's only fitting that I blog about anyone and everyone I have a "beautiful connection" with, that has anything to do with movies. So for example, my dear friend Wendel Meldrum. I just added her website to my Links.

You: Is it because she's a beautiful women? She looks pretty cute in that picture.

Youand: True, she is quite attractive. But, that's not it. What makes it a "beautiful connection" is that we have known and trusted each other for a very long time. Since we met ovoer 20 years ago, we listen to each other's feelings and by doing so, I've found that her talent for listening inspires me.

You: Wow . . . Is she your girlfriend?

Youand: No . . . It's just that we've always been able to talk. We listen to one another.

You: So there you go again with that "listening,listening,listening," again!

Youand: That's right! I said it is very important.

You: Hmm . . . What do you mean?

Youand: Because we listen to each other, we know each other. She has been a huge inspiration to me. In fact she is one of the first people that I spoke with about this work we're doing.

You: You mean Youand?

Youand: Yes.

You: And, What did she say?

Youand: She loved it.

You: Really?

Youand: She "got-it" right off the bat.

You: What did she get?

Youand: I'll tell you in a minute.

You: I want to know!

"Tag! You're it! a story about pots and bowls"

I was taking my time creating the Youand environment when my friend Anthony Roberson of Lorenza Films sent me his short animation film "Tag! You' You're It! a story of the pots and the bowls." He said, "It's showing on the Current TV website." I went there and found it quite the eerily appropriate piece for kicking off our Youand movieSpace. Why not "vote" and let's see it on TV. Thanks Anthony, for the little gem!
