The completed short, now filming in Santo Domingo, will be exhibited at the 2007 New York International Film Festival, July 24-29, and on HBO's programming services including HBO Latino."

Freddy Vargas is an award-winning filmmaker born in the Dominican Republic and educated in the United States. Having spent half his life in each of these countries has allowed him to navigate the waters of two different cultures.
