THE "BIG PILL" FOR EVERY DAY

YOU - Can we talk about the "invisible" part?

YOUAND - OK. This is very important.

"Listen to other people's feelings."

YOU - Huh?

YOUAND - A good start, a way to practice this, is to listen more than we talk.

YOU - But what about the "
invisible" part?

YOUAND - This is part of that. When was the last time you've seen or heard the suggestion to "Listen to other people's feelings?"

YOU - Um . . . never? "Listen to people's feelings?" In italics like that?

YOUAND - Yes. Try it. We'll talk more later.

YOU - OK . . .

YOUAND - In the meantime, see if you can figure out what listening has to do with,
"Making Beautiful Connections."

YOU AND YOUAND

You: So what are you about?

Youand: I'm here to listen to you.

You: Yeah, but what are you, where are you, who are you?

Youand: I’ve been trying to find a way to describe me.

You: C’mon, you have to be kidding.

Youand: No, really. It’s not easy.

You: Why?

Youand: Because, "How do you . . ." Ok . . . How's this? "Youand, is a step-by-step process designed to help you create vital and deep relationships with others."

You: Really?

Youand: Yes, really. I was going to say, “How do you describe the invisible?" But, that might be a cop out.

You: Yes . . . "Invisible?"

Youand: Well, yes because you haven't been taught to see me. I think that’s a good way to start until I find a more “official” way to state it.

You: Why do you need an “official” way to state it?

Youand: I see your point. Maybe I don’t. I guess, I mean there is a lot more to me than that. You must have some questions.

You: I sure do.

Youand: Would you mind waiting until next time? I don’t think people want to spend their lives reading about me here on the Internet.

You: Ok, let’s continue where we left off next time. "Invisible?"

Youand: Yes. I'll tell you about that next time.

You: Great.

IN THE BEGINNING

There is much to learn about sharing the Youand experience with others. A few weeks ago, a friend suggested that I blog. Since I respect her opinion, here I am. It feels a bit like a Youand, "check-in."

Is there a way to play Youand, online?

I wonder?

Since Youand has so much to do with improving the quality of our human interactions to achieve mutual understanding, does this qualify? It doesn't feel that way. We'll see.

Don't know why I'm feeling some fear. Suppose it's because Youand has always happened in private, in person, and with other people. Here I am typing away alone, to the public, and in the "blogesphere."

Even though I can always edit this, even delete it, I'd rather not." *

What if being totally honest this way can work? *

Don't know how this "should" look, with all of the hype out there about branding and all. So much to learn in order to share what I have to share.

This is a start.

* Must have edited this about 89 times so far.
* How could anyone know if one is being totally honest, online.
- It's hard enough in person?
